If you've shopped in a department store of any kind, you've probably seen a mannequin. That's M A N N E Q U I N. But our conversation is going to be about a M A N I K I N S mannequins used for training purposes. A mannequin is a full body patient simulator that mimics human anatomy and physiology and safely allows for the teaching of clinical skills. They're a lot different than what you'd find in a department store. In fact, they can sweat, bleed and react in a variety of ways to simulate real life clinical scenarios.
