Family Resource Center
The Caterpillar Family Resource Center's Mission helps families become full partners with their healthcare providers, provides education and support, and is often place of refuge for quiet reflections.
The resource center is located off of the main lobby of Children's Hospital of Illinois and is open from 8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday.
The Caterpillar Family Resource Center is available to help you find answers to your health-related questions. The center offers a collection of books, children's books, videos and DVD's available for check out as well as a book exchange for lighter reading. Additionally, there is a selection of handouts, pamphlets and internet access to medical sites to help you find more answers.
The resource center also features a meeting area, a quiet environment, phone rooms and computers in study carrels to make your visit more comfortable.
