Visiting a Patient

OSF St. Joseph offers open visiting hours with no restrictions on when you can visit your loved one. After 8:30 p.m. you will need to enter and exit the hospital through the Emergency Department.

Children must be with an adult at all times. We ask that visitors with colds and other illnesses refrain from visiting any patient care units.

Visitors are limited to two or three at a time. One family member or significant other may remain with the patient at all times.

Each patient room in the Comprehensive Care Center (CCC) contains a sleeper sofa, desk, phone, and a computer port. These items are there for the comfort of loved ones who wish to stay with the patient. Plants and flowers are not allowed in the CCC because they can put patients at risk for infection.
