Innovation for Health Program Overview

The Innovation for Health (IFH) program is a dynamic partnership between OSF HealthCare and Bradley University, designed to bring together the clinical expertise of a leading health system and the academic excellence of a nationally recognized university. This strategic collaboration empowers multidisciplinary teams—made up of clinicians, faculty, and researchers—to develop innovative, real-world solutions to pressing healthcare challenges in Peoria and surrounding communities.

Through this initiative, OSF and Bradley University aim to advance community health, improve patient outcomes, and strengthen the local healthcare workforce by supporting applied, solutions-based research. The IFH program also offers opportunities for student engagement in hands-on, interdisciplinary projects, contributing to talent development and encouraging graduates to remain and serve in Central Illinois.

Focus areas of research include:

  • Medical Visualization
  • Healthcare Analytics
  • Data Security
  • Health Literacy
  • Precision Medicine
  • Social Determinants of Health
  • Rural Health
  • Cancer-Related Research
  • Translational Research to Improve Community Health
  • Sustainability in Healthcare
