Wound care is provided to patients aged 10 and older with chronic, non-healing wounds that have been present for more than 30 days.

All OSF Wound Care patients receive an initial screening, which includes taking their history and measuring, cleaning and assessing their wounds.
We will ask for your written consent to take pictures of your wounds and for debridement, biopsy, incision and drainage, laceration management or other procedures if needed.
You, your support person, and your other health care providers are often included in the process.
Once we've finished the initial screening, your wound care provider will review the findings and share treatment options with you.
