To enroll in the program, we will schedule an evaluation and you can start immediately afterwards!

HMR phase one classes are 13 weeks long and involve education and problem solving through group discussion. HMR phase I may be repeated if needed for more weight loss. It includes exercise and nutrition classes which are conducted by a registered dietician and exercise physiologist.

HMR phase two will teach lifestyle skills to help achieve weight loss. Phase two is recommended for six months.

Weight Loss Medication Program

Our nurse practitioner offers a strict, regimented program to ensure that you find success with medication in a healthy and suitable manner. Patients must have a BMI of 30 and higher, or a BMI of 27 with comorbidities present. The program consists of the following:

  • Completion of “Steps in Weight loss medication program” sheet
  • Education and adherence to DASH diet and MyPlate
  • Vitamin and/or mineral supplementation as needed
  • Increase in physical activity
