Meet Our Nurse Navigators

Connect with a Nurse Navigator

We’re with You from Treatment Through Recovery

A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming, and all of the decisions and treatments that follow can be complicated and stressful. That’s why we provide you with a compassionate nurse navigator who has the expertise to answer all of your questions and guide you every step of the way.

What is a Nurse Navigator?

Nurse navigators help with many aspects of care, including:

  • Understanding your diagnosis and treatment options
  • Connecting you with the latest treatment information available through clinical and research trials
  • Helping with things that make it hard to get care, like finding a ride or a place to stay
  • Coordinating and scheduling appointments, tests and services
  • Communicating with physicians, case managers, support service personnel, family members and others, and advocating on your behalf
  • Exploring work-related or financial concerns that you may have and connecting you to appropriate resources
  • Addressing psychosocial needs and making referrals to appropriate community and hospital-based resources
  • Ensuring follow-up care and monitoring after initial treatment
  • Referring to the appropriate doctor’s office or other health care resources when other issues arise
  • Transitioning to survivorship from active treatment

What to Expect

When you begin your cancer journey, you’ll be assigned a dedicated nurse navigator who will be with you throughout your entire cancer journey. They will reach out to you often to check in, remove barriers and act as your advocate.
