Most common sports medicine procedures
Sports injuries often involve damaged and torn ligaments in the knees, shoulders or other joints and soft tissues. Surgery is sometimes needed to repair damaged cartilage or ligaments.
Repair of an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury is one of the most common injuries to athletes who participate in soccer, football, basketball and other sports. An ACL tear can come about after changing direction rapidly or stopping suddenly, among other causes. A torn ACL will not heal without surgery, so active patients will typically require a graft.
Meniscus tears are another common injury that will not usually heal without surgery. The meniscus is a piece of cartilage located between your thigh bone and shinbones.

Ancillary services provided by the laboratory, radiology and medical rehabilitation departments are convenient and close to the clinic.
