Schedule Your COVID-19 Vaccination
As of September 12, 2023, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the 2023–2024 updated Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for use in the United States.
The previous bivalent vaccine formulas have been discontinued and are no longer available for use.
According to the CDC, the updated vaccines will do a better job of fighting the variants that are currently circulating and could restore protection against severe COVID-19 that may have decreased over time. Select OSF Medical Group – Primary Care sites are now carrying the updated Pfizer monovalent vaccine.
Patients with OSF MyChart may log into their account to schedule a COVID-19 vaccination appointment. More information about the Pfizer vaccine, including recommended use by age, can be found on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website.
