Before your procedure, you can expect to receive several phone calls from OSF HealthCare, including your care team and financial services.
During your call with financial services, we will ask for insurance information as well as answer your questions about cost and billing.
You may be asked and encouraged to pay for past balances or planned services that do not already have a payment plan set up. Doing so will speed up your check in process on the day of service.
We are also able to offer cost estimates before your procedure.
While we cannot give medical advice or answer specific questions about your insurance coverage, our goal during these conversations is to provide you with the best service possible and answer any questions to the best of our ability.
