Why OSF?: I chose OSF St. Francis Medical Center because of the small program size, supportive pharmacy staff, and diverse patient populations. The residency program is invested in resident success and mentorship, and it provides each resident with individualized learning experiences based on areas of interest.

Interests outside the pharmacy: Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Chuck, friends and family, and coworkers.
Why OSF?: I had rotations as a student here, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time. Everyone was so helpful and kind; you can just feel a strong sense of community amongst everyone. I was also attracted to OSF because it's a teaching hospital, and there are always learning opportunities to further professional development. There are many different electives to choose from and cater to your professional needs and/or interests.

Interests outside the pharmacy: I enjoy playing pickleball, board games, and spending time with my friends and family. I also have a Siamese cat that I love named Dean.
Why OSF?: I chose OSF because they offer a multitude of clinical rotations, and they tailor the year to your interests. I knew that I would feel right at home with the supportive pharmacy staff and have gained new lifelong friendships. OSF also has preceptors and Mission Partners who are incredibly supportive and invested in the residents' success.

Practice Areas of Interest: Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Research: Evaluating the utility and efficacy of pharmacy-managed triazole antifungal therapy in pediatric and adult patients at a tertiary level pediatric medical center.
Interests outside the pharmacy: I love videogames, Lego, trying new foods and traveling.
Why OSF?: OSF allows me to explore new areas of my interest since they partner with St. Jude Clinic. I also have been able to bring my previous pediatric knowledge and compare that with the workflows here to make me a better pediatric pharmacist of the future. Lastly, the preceptors are also very friendly, supportive and encourage a great work-life balance.
