OSF Saint Katharine Medical Center, a trusted healthcare provider in Dixon, Illinois, has been serving the community since 1897.
Formerly known as Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital (KSB Hospital), the medical center was founded with a generous gift from Judge Solomon Bethea in honor of his late wife, Katherine. Over the years, what began as KSB has evolved into an 80-bed acute care facility offering a wide range of services, including emergency medicine, obstetrics, inpatient psychiatry, cardiovascular care, outpatient surgery, intensive care, and more.
Our mission has always been to serve the healthcare needs of our community, and we remain committed to this mission today. In addition to the hospital, OSF Saint Katharine Medical Center has developed a regional network of primary care clinics and a multi-specialty physician group. Each year, we invest in advanced technology, modern facilities, and our dedicated employees to ensure we continue to meet the ever-changing healthcare needs of the people we serve.
Access to healthcare is imperative. However, access in rural markets increasingly becomes more endangered in our post pandemic reality. OSF Saint Katharine strives to restore, maintain, and enhance services available to all our service area as an independent, nonprofit healthcare provider. The OSF HealthCare Foundation is committed to aiding in that mission through connecting donors like you to Our Future Health, Our Facilities and Equipment, and Our Patients and Community.
