2024 marks the fourth year of the OSF HealthCare Saint Luke Medical Center Rural Transportation Program, a 100% philanthropic service made possible by community supporters. There is no fee for this service.

Residents of Galva, Kewanee and Neponset who use the service consider the free ride a blessing. 

All ages and levels of society use the OSF Saint Luke van. Destinations vary, it may be to a provider appointment to manage a chronic disease, physical therapy, or a family receiving a ride home from an emergency room service.

Reliable transportation affects a person’s ability to access well-coordinated health care.
