Our dedicated pediatric neurosurgery team at the OSF Illinois Neurological Institute and OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois, led by Dr. Julian Lin, a board certified pediatric neurosurgeon, includes residents, advanced practice providers, nurses and certified medical assistants.

We take a team approach to your child's care. We stay in close communication with you – and with one another – from your child's first visit to the clinic through surgery and follow-up.

Our multidisciplinary team meets regularly to discuss the unique needs of our patients and families.

Advance Practice Provider & Nurse Clinician

Advanced Practice Providers have advanced, specialty, master's-level training and are an important partner in caring for your child and your family.

They assess and evaluate patients, oversee their care, teach families about their child's surgery and provide long-term follow-up.

They are also available to answer questions and share advice.

In addition, our nurse coordinator, Lynne Lyle, RN, has more than 20 years' experience coordinating care for children and their families and often serves as a liaison between providers and patient families.
